This is a must-do when in Belfast. It was wet, there was a great deal of pre-Christmas traffic and it took a lot longer than expected, but it was the highlight of my stay in Belfast. My guide was Eamonn who made his allegiance (bias) perfectly clear as we set out. He personalised what happened, gave reasons for what happened and answered all my questions. He was at all times polite, friendly and interesting. He went well out of his way to drop me at my requested destination (not my pick-up point). The ninety minutes turned into almost three hours at no extra cost.

Visiting Belfast and finding out as much about the troubled history as I can, has always been on my list of things to do. So looking on trip adviser, me and my boyfriend decided we had to do a black taxi tour. This tour did not disappoint! Straight away we met our driver, Mark, who was very friendly and briefly explained the route we would take, through the Falls and around by the Shankill. Mark was so informative and knowledgable of the areas it was clear he didn't learn this from a book! The tour lasted little less than 2 hours and in that time we were both engrossed in marks story telling. It was easily the best tour I've ever been on. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with even a slight interest in the trouble in the north.
Pat gave us a close perspective about what happened years ago just in the place that it happened. It was like a travel back in time. Highly recommended!
An absolute must do on your visit to Belfast! We came up for the day from Dublin (5 pax) and this tour was just perfect in a short day trip. Our guide, Seamus, was great. Very informative and happy to answer all (we had many) of our questions. He made the whole tour very personal for us. Thank you Seamus!

Pat was our driver for this tour and was an excellent guide, who shared his personal anecdotes related to things we've seen to make it a really interesting experience. It's always good to visit a place with someone who has lived here. A must do in Belfast, as you truly dive into the Belfast history
