Titanic Building

The world’s largest Titanic-themed visitor attraction, located on the very slipways where she was built.Learn how the Titanic story has affected Belfast.

Parliament Buildings, Stormont

Parliament Buildings, Stormont is home to the Northern Ireland Assembly, the legislative body which was established under the Good Friday Agreement of 1998.

The Leaning Tower of Belfast

Built on reclaimed land around the river Farset, the Albert Memorial Clock leans 4 feet beyond vertical.The clock featured in the 1947 film, Odd Man Out.

Grand Opera House

Opened in 1895, the Grand Opera House in Belfast’s oldest theatre.  The building suffered bomb damage on many occasions and was renovated in 2006.

Samson and Goliath

The twin cranes, named after the biblical figures Samson and Goliath, dominate the Belfast skyline.They belong to Harland and Wolff; the company that built the Titanic.

Belfast City Hall

City Hall is the civic building of Belfast City Council.  It first opened on 1 August 1906 and is the home of the Titanic Monument and Titanic Memorial Garden.

Queen's University Belfast

Crumlin Road Gaol & Courthouse

Now a popular tourist site, Crumlin Road Gaol saw 17 prisoners executed on site.  It has an underground tunnel leading to the Crumlin Road Courthouse.

The Big Fish

For some reason, the Big Fish is a favourite attraction for visitors to Belfast.  It’s made from ceramic tiles depicting the history of Belfast and is over 10 meters long.

St Anne's Cathedral

The must visit ‘Cathedral Quarter’ of Belfast is named after St Anne’s. It features the 40 meter ‘Spire of Hope‘, which can be seen from all over Belfast.
